Stanley Electric, Mitsubishi Electric Mobility delay JV launch for next-gen lamp systems

Stanley Electric Co. and Mitsubishi Electric Mobility Corporation have revised the effective dates for their absorption-type company split, establishing a joint venture for next-generation vehicle lamp systems. The original effective dates for the split agreements, January 1 and January 5, 2026, have been rescheduled to March 30 and March 31, 2026, respectively.

This adjustment, decided during board meetings on December 26, 2025, is to ensure thorough preparations and a smooth launch for the integrated business. Certain required procedures necessitated additional time to establish the operational foundation.

Both companies previously disclosed their integration agreement on April 24, 2025, with subsequent progress updates provided. The financial impact of this company split will be announced once it becomes clear.
