Oasis management becomes Kobayashi Pharmaceutical's largest shareholder

Kobayashi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. announced on December 26, 2025, a change in its largest shareholder. Oasis Management Company Ltd., headquartered in the Cayman Islands, filed a large shareholding report on December 22, 2025, indicating its increased stake.

Prior to the change on December 18, 2024, Oasis Management held 78,838 voting rights (7,883,844 shares), representing 10.63% of the total voting rights and ranking as the second-largest shareholder. Following the change, as of December 22, 2025, Oasis Management now holds 101,930 voting rights (10,193,005 shares), representing 13.74% of the total voting rights, making it the new largest shareholder.

Concurrently, Akihiro Kobayashi, who previously held 92,647 voting rights (9,264,704 shares) representing 12.49% of total voting rights and was the largest shareholder, is now the second-largest shareholder with the same number of voting rights and percentage. The company noted that the percentages of total voting rights are rounded to the third decimal place and are calculated based on 741,881 total voting rights as of June 30, 2025.
