Dai-Dan names Hisao Sasaki new representative director

Dai-Dan Co., Ltd. announced a change in its representative directors, effective April 1, 2026, following a board resolution on December 25, 2025. Hisao Sasaki, currently a director, senior executive corporate officer, general manager of the East Japan division, and general manager of the Tokyo head office, will be promoted to representative director and senior executive corporate officer.

Concurrently, Ichiro Fujisawa will transition from representative director and chairman to director and chairman, relinquishing his representative authority to focus on overseeing management as the chairperson of the board of directors.

This leadership transition aligns with Dai-Dan’s strategic timeline as it approaches the final year of its Mid-Term Management Plan Phase 2 ("Refining Stage") and prepares for Phase 3 ("Excellence Stage"). The company aims to strengthen its management structure for future advancements. Mr. Sasaki, who joined Dai-Dan in April 1988, has a distinguished career, including leading the industrial facilities business and managing core divisions in East Japan and Tokyo.

Mr. Sasaki’s career highlights include serving as general manager of the engineering department, industrial facilities division in April 2011, and progressing to director, executive corporate officer, head of technical division, and in charge of the engineering division by April 2022. He currently holds 17,600 shares of Dai-Dan as of November 30, 2025.
