Yamabiko subsidiary acquires light tower business, expands North American portfolio

Yamabiko Corporation announced that its consolidated subsidiary, ECHO Incorporated, has acquired the light tower business from South Carolina-based Taylor and Ard Equipment LLC. This acquisition, effective January 2026, will integrate commercial lighting equipment into ECHO Inc.'s product lineup, diversifying its North American business portfolio and enhancing its ability to meet diverse customer needs across construction sites and event venues.

The company aims to unify the product offering under the ECHO brand and leverage ECHO Inc.'s procurement capabilities to strengthen price competitiveness. Production of ECHO-branded light towers is slated to begin at ECHO Inc. in July 2026, promoting local production for local consumption to optimize costs and reinforce the supply structure.

Yamabiko anticipates that while the impact on its consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending December 2025 will be minor, this acquisition is expected to contribute to improved performance over the medium to long term.
