Nissui acquires Chilean salmon producer Pesquera Yadran for $133m

Nissui, through its consolidated subsidiary SALMONES ANTARTICA S.A., has announced its decision to acquire 100% of the shares of PESQUERA YADRAN S.A. from Inversiones Yadran S.A., Chile Market Limitada Servicios y Asesorias Financieras, and Inversiones Crucol Limitada. This acquisition will also make Cultivos Yadran S.A. and five other subsidiaries wholly owned by Nissui. The acquisition, valued at approximately $133,000 thousand, is expected to close in early January 2026.

The acquisition aims to strengthen Nissui’s aquaculture business, identified as a key growth driver with an expected operating profit margin of over 10%. PESQUERA YADRAN S.A., with capital of $106,078 thousand, operates a fully integrated salmon aquaculture business in Chile, from production to sales, and reported total assets of $428,525 thousand and revenues of $222,408 thousand in the fiscal year ended December 2024. The move is expected to expand Nissui’s aquaculture scale, enhance processing and sales networks, and optimize species and pen balance.
