Kobe Bussan proposes re-election of key leadership for 2026

Kobe Bussan Co., Ltd. announced on December 17, 2025, its intention to propose the re-election of key directors at its 40th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for January 29, 2026. The proposed candidates include Hirokazu Numata, president and representative director, who has led the company since 2012, overseeing business portfolio streamlining, operational efficiency improvements, and sales expansion. Numata's responsibilities for 2025 include the Quality Assurance, Area East Plant Management, R&D, and Domestic Agriculture Resources Departments.

Yasuhiro Tanaka, executive vice president and representative director, is also proposed for re-election. He has been instrumental in managing the Kobe Bussan Group since 2012, contributing to business expansion through administrative department efficiency. For 2025, Tanaka is responsible for Trade Operations, Overseas Market Development, Eco Renewable Energy, Overseas Agriculture Resources, and Tourism Business Departments. Yasuharu Kido, director, manager and director in charge of Accounting Department and Finance Department since 2022, is nominated for his extensive experience in accounting and finance, having contributed to the Group's financial health and business planning since 2019.

Additionally, the company proposes the re-election of Koichi Masada as a full-time Audit and Supervisory Committee Member, citing his long-standing experience in finance and accounting, including serving as a corporate officer in charge of finance since 2017 and a substitute corporate auditor since 2018. Takeshi Ieki and Sachiko Nomura are also proposed for re-election as outside directors (Audit and Supervisory Committee Members), both bringing considerable expertise as a certified public accountant and an attorney at law, respectively, to ensure effective oversight and governance.
