Path Corporation forms alliance for renewable energy aggregation

Path Corporation, RUTILEA, and Uni-Lot have entered into a business alliance to develop an aggregator service for electricity supply-demand adjustment, focusing on grid-scale storage batteries and biomass power generation. This initiative aims to address the instability of renewable energy sources and support Japan's 2050 carbon neutrality goal.

Under the agreement, Path Corporation will lead the resource aggregator business, supported by RUTILEA and Uni-Lot, and will continue to acquire land for grid-scale storage power plants and renewable energy generation. RUTILEA will serve as the aggregation coordinator, leveraging its AI expertise in energy management, while Uni-Lot will provide renewable energy resources from its 14 solar power plants nationwide (totaling 74,570kW of generation capacity as of May 2025). Uni-Lot will also handle EPC services for new storage and renewable energy facilities.

The collaboration seeks to create an energy circulation model using AI-powered systems to efficiently charge and discharge surplus solar power into grid-scale storage batteries. This partnership is expected to stabilize electricity supply, promote renewable energy adoption, and enhance resilience against disasters.
