Software service boosts dividend 10 yen, exceeds forecasts

Software Service reported strong consolidated results for the fiscal year ending October 2025, with net sales reaching JPY 42,298 million, a 10.1% increase year-over-year. Operating profit rose by 15.3% to JPY 8,388 million, while ordinary profit increased by 15.5% to JPY 8,471 million. Net income attributable to owners of parent grew by 14.7% to JPY 6,112 million, translating to JPY 1,167.88 per share.

The company's performance prompted an upward revision of the year-end dividend forecast for fiscal year 2025. The previously announced forecast of JPY 150.00 per share has been increased by JPY 10.00 to JPY 160.00 per share. This decision reflects the company's strong results and commitment to shareholder returns.

Looking ahead to fiscal year 2026, Software Service anticipates continued growth, projecting net sales of JPY 44,338 million (4.8% increase) and operating profit of JPY 8,795 million (4.8% increase). Ordinary profit is expected to reach JPY 8,875 million (4.8% increase), though net income attributable to owners of parent is forecast to slightly decrease by 2.1% to JPY 5,982 million due to special losses.
