Hioki reorganizes China units for enhanced efficiency

Hioki E. E. Corporation resolved on December 5, 2025, to reorganize its consolidated subsidiary and sub-subsidiaries in China, effective January 1, 2026. This restructuring aims to enhance operational efficiency and improve responsiveness to rapid market growth in China.

As part of the reorganization, the functions and employees of two consolidated sub-subsidiaries, HIOKI (Shanghai) TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT CO., LTD. and HIOKI (Shanghai) MEASURING INSTRUMENTS CO., LTD., will be transferred to the consolidated subsidiary, HIOKI (Shanghai) MEASUREMENT TECHNOLOGIES CO., LTD. The two transferring entities are scheduled for liquidation within 2026. HIOKI (Shanghai) MEASUREMENT TECHNOLOGIES CO., LTD. will handle business management and administration for the domestic group in China.

The company anticipates that the impact of this reorganization on its consolidated performance for the fiscal year ending December 2025 will be minimal. The changes consolidate research, development, manufacturing, and sales functions, previously spread across multiple entities, under a single streamlined structure.
