Sky Perfect JSAT reports November 2025 subscription figures

Sky Perfect JSAT Holdings Inc. announced its subscription figures for its multichannel pay-TV broadcast service and optical fiber-based re-transmission service as of November 30, 2025. The company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Sky Perfect JSAT Corporation, reported that total "SKY PerfecTV!" subscribers, measured by IC cards or chips, reached 2,456,890. This figure resulted from 38,119 new subscribers and 54,456 churns in November, leading to a net decrease of 16,337 for the month, with a monthly churn rate of 2.2%.

Specifically, the "SKY PerfecTV!" service (110 degrees east longitude satellite broadcasts, including fiber re-transmission) recorded 1,851,763 subscribers, with 37,105 new additions and 48,157 churns, resulting in a net decrease of 11,052 and a 2.6% churn rate. The "Premium Service" segment had 605,127 subscribers, with 1,014 new subscribers and 6,299 churns, leading to a net decrease of 5,285 and a 1.0% churn rate.

Additionally, the number of contractors for "SKY PerfecTV!" totaled 1,874,280, seeing 28,241 new contractors and 45,032 churns, with a 2.4% monthly churn rate. The optical fiber-based re-transmission service reported 2,932,217 subscribing households, adding 19,878 new subscribers and experiencing 11,932 churns, resulting in a net increase of 7,946 and a monthly churn rate of 0.4%.
