Workman reports strong November sales driven by winter apparel demand

Workman Co., Ltd. announced preliminary monthly year-on-year results for November 2025, reporting robust performance for the fiscal year ending March 2026. Chain-wide, total sales for November increased by 114.1% year-on-year, with existing stores seeing a 107.9% rise. This growth was primarily attributed to colder weather driving sales of winter apparel such as thermal innerwear, outerwear, and warm pants, alongside continued strong sales of recovery wear.

For the October-November period, chain-wide total sales reached 126.2% and 114.1% respectively, with customer numbers at 118.2% and 110.9%, and average customer spending at 106.7% and 102.9%.

During November, Workman opened 5 new stores, including Workman Plus Sendai Wakabayashi, and Workman Colors stores in Mall Plaza Soka, Toyohashi Kalmia, Fukui, and Imabari Torio. One store, Narita Kozunomori, was closed, and 3 stores underwent renovation. As of the end of November, the total number of stores reached 1,086.
