Suntory Beverage & Food to appoint new president, change company name

Suntory Beverage & Food Limited will appoint Josuke Kimura as its new representative director, president & chief executive officer, replacing Makiko Ono, effective late March 2026. This leadership transition aims to drive sustainable business growth through innovation and transformation.

Concurrently, the company will change its trade name to "Suntory Beverage & Food Kabushiki Kaisha" (Suntory Beverage & Food Limited in English) to unify its global branding as its business domain expands. This name change is subject to approval at the 17th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in late March 2026, with an effective date of April 1, 2026.

Kimura, currently senior managing executive officer of Suntory Holdings Limited, brings extensive experience across various leadership roles within Suntory Group. Ono, the outgoing president, will assume the position of director, senior managing executive officer of Suntory Holdings Limited.
