Matsui Securities reports strong November trading and account growth

Matsui Securities reported its preliminary monthly trading performance for November 2025, indicating robust activity across several key metrics. The company's total equity trading value reached JPY 6,133,488 million, with a daily average of JPY 340,749 million, reflecting a slight increase in daily average compared to October. Revenue from commissions stood at JPY 1,924 million, while FX revenue was JPY 203 million.

A new disclosure this month highlights the growth in customer engagement, with 10,897 new securities accounts opened in November, contributing to a net increase of 8,117 accounts. The total number of active accounts reached 154,578, with 32,527 active margin accounts. Margin trading balances saw the long-position at JPY 337,746 million and the short-position at JPY 40,948 million.
