Suntory Beverage & Food announces leadership changes, trade name update

Suntory Beverage & Food Limited announced on November 28, 2025, a tentative decision to change its representative director and other directors, alongside a proposal to amend its trade name and articles of incorporation. These changes, aimed at accelerating "innovation" and "transformation" for sustainable growth, are scheduled for formal decision at the 17th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in late March 2026.

Josuke Kimura is slated to become the new representative director, president & chief executive officer, succeeding Makiko Ono, who will assume the role of director, senior managing executive officer of Suntory Holdings Limited. Mr. Kimura, born on January 23, 1961, brings extensive experience from various leadership roles within Suntory Group, holding 1,000 company shares as of September 30, 2025. Other directorial changes include the election of Naoto Okinaka and Sho Senba as new directors, and the re-election of Maki Nakamura and Hideki Kanda, while Hachiro Naiki, Peter Harding, and Toru Miyanaga will retire.

Additionally, the company plans to change its trade name to "Suntory Beverage & Food Kabushiki Kaisha" (Suntory Beverage & Food Limited in English) effective April 1, 2026. This amendment aims to globally unify the use of the trade name "Suntory Beverage & Food" as the Group's business domain expands. The change will involve amending Article 1 of the current articles of incorporation.
