DyDo Group Q3 sales rise on international strength, full-year loss expected

DyDo Group Holdings Inc. announced its third-quarter financial highlights for fiscal year 2025, reporting a 2.7% increase in net sales to JPY 184.9 bn. This growth was primarily fueled by strong performance in the international beverage business, which offset declines in domestic beverage and food segments due to heightened consumer cost-consciousness. However, consolidated operating profit decreased by 18.3% to JPY 5.2 bn, impacted by lower domestic beverage business profit. Profit attributable to owners of parent fell sharply by 93.5% to JPY 468 m, due to lower profits, higher corporate taxes, and the absence of prior year investment security sale gains.

Strategic initiatives include price revisions for domestic beverage products in retail (October 2025) and vending machine channels (November 2025), alongside digital video ads for the "Heart Price" lineup. The Turkish beverage business, operating in a hyperinflationary environment, saw Q3 sales volume grow over 1.3 times year-on-year, supported by advertising investments for long-term growth. The company is optimizing its vending machine operations, with over 60% of Smart Operation units deployed as of October 2025, aiming for improved profitability and efficiency.

For the full year FY2025, DyDo Group forecasts net sales of JPY 243.4 bn, up 2.6% year-on-year, but expects operating profit to decline by 62.4% to JPY 1.8 bn, leading to a net loss attributable to owners of parent of JPY -3.0 bn. This anticipated decline is attributed to reduced domestic beverage and food earnings, higher corporate taxes, and the lack of investment security sale gains.
