Nissei ASB Machine posts record financials, projects continued growth

Nissei ASB Machine Co., Ltd. reported record-high orders, sales, and operating profit for the fiscal year ending September 2025. Orders reached JPY 43.1bn, a 5.0% increase year-over-year, while net sales climbed 18.7% to JPY 43.6bn. Operating profit saw a substantial 34.6% increase, reaching JPY 10.6bn, primarily driven by increased sales volume despite negative foreign exchange impacts. The company showcased four latest models at K2025 in Dusseldorf, Germany, highlighting its "All-in-one Sustainable Bottle Solutions" and strategic focus on beverage and HDPE containers.

For fiscal year 2026, Nissei ASB Machine forecasts continued strong demand, aiming for record-high profits for the second consecutive year. Net sales are projected to reach JPY 46.8bn, with operating profit at JPY 11.5bn. Capital investment is expected to increase significantly by 86.4% to JPY 2,000m, mainly for capacity expansion at its India plant. The company anticipates a JPY 300m impact from U.S. tariffs, which will be mitigated through price pass-through and a strategic shift of production from India to Japan.

Nissei ASB Machine's growth strategy focuses on four pillars: stable growth in Non-Beverage segments with ASB Series, expanded sales in Beverage segments with PF36 and PM-90, entry into competitors' domains through HDPE container development, and enhanced customer satisfaction via expanded parts and service. The company aims for JPY 50bn in sales by its 50th anniversary in FY2028, underscoring its commitment to sustainable growth and shareholder returns with a dividend payout ratio target of 40%.
