Asics expands running ecosystem with two race platform acquisitions

Asics Corporation is set to acquire 100% of the shares in DPTK Innovacion y Tecnologia SL (Deporticket), a Spanish race registration platform, and Thaidotrun Co., Ltd. (Thairun), Thailand's largest race registration and event services provider. These acquisitions are part of Asics' Mid-Term Plan 2026, aiming to strengthen its "Running Ecosystem" by becoming the No. 1 infrastructure in the running industry through enhanced digital and personalized services.

Deporticket, established in 2012, is Spain's second-largest event registration platform. The acquisition of Deporticket, with a transfer agreement signed on November 17, 2025, will enhance Asics' European presence and integrate Deporticket’s resources with Njuko to maximize operational efficiency. Thairun, founded in 2017, leads the Thai market, offering comprehensive race registration, photo, and media services. The share transfer agreement for Thairun was signed on November 19, 2025, with execution expected between April and June 2026.

These strategic moves will solidify Asics' position as a dominant race registration platform company across North America, Europe, Japan, Oceania, and Southeast Asia. The company anticipates these transactions will have a minor impact on its consolidated financial results, while driving the global rollout of digital and personalized experiences for runners.
