Baycurrent names new chairman and president after health resignation

Baycurrent Inc. announced a change in its members of the board, effective November 19, 2025. Daisuke Kitakaze resigned from his position as member of the board and president due to health reasons requiring medical treatment. The board of directors accepted his resignation.

Following deliberations by the nomination and compensation committee, Yoshiyuki Abe was appointed as member of the board, chairman of the board, and president. Abe joined BayCurrent Consulting, Inc. in September 2008. His previous roles include executive officer and member of the board, president, a position he held from December 2016 until May 2025, when he became chairman of the board. As of the end of August 2025, Abe held 736,330 shares of the company.

Baycurrent Inc. stated that this change will not impact the company's management policy or business strategy. The company intends to continue its focus on enhancing corporate value and achieving sustainable growth, guided by its medium-term business plan.
