NGK Insulators wins lawsuit, judgment finalized

NGK Insulators, Ltd. announced on November 12, 2025, that the judgment in its favor regarding a damages lawsuit has become final and conclusive. The lawsuit was filed by PT Paiton Energy, an Indonesian corporation, along with its insurers and reinsurers.

The Nagoya District Court fully accepted NGK Insulators' position and dismissed the plaintiffs' claims in its judgment rendered on October 24, 2025. With no appeal filed by the plaintiffs by the November 7, 2025 deadline, the initial ruling against NGK Insulators is now confirmed as a victory for the company.

NGK Insulators further stated that this matter will have no impact on its financial results.
