Nidec reschedules Q1 fiscal 2026 earnings amid accounting investigation

Nidec Corporation has set Friday, November 14, 2025, as the disclosure date for its financial statements for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. This follows a previous notification on July 24, 2025, which communicated the postponement of these results, exceeding 45 days after the quarter-end. The company also confirmed that the disclosure date for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, is scheduled for the same day.

The company's decision comes amidst ongoing investigations by a Third-Party Committee into suspected inappropriate accounting practices involving Nidec and its group, as well as other internal investigations. Nidec indicated that should any material misstatement requiring amendment in the consolidated financial statements be discovered as a result of these investigations after the Q1 and Q2 disclosures, appropriate measures will be taken, including amending previously submitted documents.

Nidec sincerely apologized to shareholders, investors, and other related parties for any inconvenience and concern caused by these circumstances.
