Sparx Group AUM surges to ¥2,191.9 bn in October on strong market

Sparx Group Co. Ltd. announced a ¥79.5 billion (3.8%) increase in its assets under management (AUM) for October 2025, bringing the total to ¥2,191.9 billion. This growth was notably propelled by a strong performance in Japan Equity, which rose to ¥15,066 million from ¥14,625 million in September. OneAsia also saw substantial growth, reaching ¥2,032 million in October from ¥1,674 million the prior month.

The overall market experienced a positive trend, with the Nikkei 225 index soaring by 16.64% to 52,411.34 and the TOPIX gaining 6.19% to 3,331.83 in October 2025. South Korean markets also contributed, with the KOSPI Index increasing by 19.94% to 4,107.50 and the KOSDAQ Index up 6.94% to 900.42. The Hong Kong Hang Seng Index, however, saw a decline of 3.53%.

Currency movements also played a role, with the USD/JPY rate appreciating by 4.31% to 154.05 and the KRW/JPY rate rising by 2.73% to 0.1081. These market dynamics, coupled with investment performance, foreign exchange rates, and fund subscriptions, directly influenced the AUM fluctuations, according to the company.
