SoftBank Group to redeem hybrid notes early

SoftBank Group Corp. declared its intention to redeem all of its 4th unsecured subordinated notes on February 4, 2026. This marks the first optional redemption date for these instruments. These notes, originally issued in 2021, include provisions for optional interest payment deferral and early redemption.

The total amount of the original issuance and the upcoming early redemption is JPY 177.0 billion. The notes carried an interest rate of 3.000% per annum and were issued on February 4, 2021, with a maturity date of February 4, 2056. Each note of JPY 100 will be redeemed at JPY 100.
