Nihon Parkerizing to split processing business into new subsidiary

Nihon Parkerizing Co., Ltd. announced a group organizational restructuring through a simplified absorption-type company split, effective April 1, 2026. The company will transfer its processing business to its wholly owned subsidiary, Parker Processing Co., Ltd., which will subsequently change its trade name to Parker Processing Corporation. This integration aims to enhance operational efficiency, combine management resources, and strengthen the business foundation amidst intensifying global competition and evolving customer needs.

As of March 31, 2025, Nihon Parkerizing Co., Ltd. reported consolidated net sales of JPY 44,274 million. For the same period, the processing business division to be split recorded sales of JPY 11,388 million. The succeeding company, Parker Processing Co., Ltd., had net sales of JPY 8,240 million and net income of JPY 1,516 million.

In its latest financial update for FY2026 Q2, Nihon Parkerizing reported consolidated net sales of JPY 64,734 million. The company forecasts consolidated net sales of JPY 131,000 million for the full FY2026. The company states that the impact of this split on consolidated financial results will be minimal.
