Japan Tobacco amends interim dividend payout for fiscal year 2025

Japan Tobacco Inc. (TSE:2914) issued a correction to its "Notice concerning revised dividends," initially released on July 31, 2025. The amendment specifically revises the "Total dividend" amount for the interim dividend of the fiscal year ending December 2025.

The corrected "Total dividend" for the interim period, with a record date of June 30, 2025, is now JPY 184,683 million. This represents an increase from the initially announced JPY 184,641 million. The dividend per share remains unchanged at JPY 104, with the payment date scheduled for September 1, 2025, and the source of dividend being retained earnings.

The "Previous dividend forecast" (announced February 13, 2025) and "Previous dividend (for the year ended December 2024)" details remain consistent with prior disclosures, with a per-share dividend of JPY 97 for both periods.
