Tadano: Silchester International Investors reduces stake in company

Tadano Ltd. announced on October 30, 2025, a change in one of its major shareholders, effective October 27, 2025. This change was confirmed following a Large Shareholding Report submitted to the Kanto Local Finance Bureau on October 29, 2025. The shareholder in question is Silchester International Investors LLP, an investment advisory firm based in London.

Prior to the change, as of March 17, 2025, Silchester International Investors LLP held 129,639 units (12,963,900 shares), representing 10.20% of the voting rights. After the change, as of October 27, 2025, their holdings decreased to 115,821 units (11,582,100 shares), bringing their voting rights ratio down to 9.10%.

The calculation of voting rights before the change was based on 1,270,465 units, derived from 129,500,355 total issued shares as of December 31, 2024. After the change, the calculation was based on 1,273,015 units, derived from the same total issued shares as of June 30, 2025. Tadano Ltd. noted that information regarding the actual number of shares held by the shareholder and their ranking among major shareholders could not be independently confirmed.
