Obic Business Consultants reports strong Q2 growth in sales and profit

Obic Business Consultants reported a substantial increase in its unaudited financial results for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026. Net sales for the period reached JPY 24,931 million, marking a 9.6% increase compared to the previous year. This growth extended to profits, with operating profit rising by 10.4% to JPY 11,160 million, and ordinary profit increasing by 10.7% to JPY 11,945 million.

Net income for the period also saw a healthy increase, reaching JPY 8,273 million, up 8.4% year-over-year. The company's total assets grew by JPY 5.2 billion to JPY 213,839 million, with equity ratio improving to 77.5% from 76.2% in the prior fiscal year. The increase in cloud service revenue and successful sales activities contributed significantly to this positive performance.

For the full fiscal year ending March 2026, Obic Business Consultants projects net sales of JPY 51,700 million, a 10.0% increase from the prior year. Operating profit is expected to reach JPY 24,000 million (up 10.4%), with ordinary profit at JPY 25,000 million (up 8.5%), and net income at JPY 17,350 million (up 7.2%).
