Hulic raises 2025 financial guidance and boosts dividend payout

Hulic Co., Ltd. announced a significant upward revision to its consolidated financial results forecast for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025. The company now anticipates an operating revenue of 710,000 million yen, an operating profit of 183,000 million yen, an ordinary profit of 170,000 million yen, and profit attributable to owners of parent of 112,000 million yen. This represents an increase of 5,000 million yen in operating profit, 6,000 million yen in ordinary profit, and 4,000 million yen in profit attributable to owners of parent, compared to previously announced guidance, with EPS rising to 147.43 yen. These revisions are primarily attributed to the strategic sale of properties not meeting holding criteria, aiming to build a high-quality leasing portfolio, leading to expected record-high results across profit items.

In conjunction with the revised financial guidance, Hulic has increased its annual dividend plan for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025. The year-end dividend is now projected to be 31.50 yen per share, an increase of 3.00 yen from the initial plan, bringing the total annual dividend to 60.00 yen per share (including the interim dividend of 28.50 yen already paid). This adjustment aligns with the company's policy of maintaining a payout ratio of 40% or higher, reflecting the improved profit forecast attributable to owners of parent.

For the nine months ended September 30, 2025, Hulic reported operating revenue of 424,218 million yen, an operating profit of 106,371 million yen, and profit attributable to owners of parent of 60,624 million yen. These figures represent substantial increases of 34.6%, 19.7%, and 11.0% respectively, year-over-year. The strong performance was bolstered by stable leasing income from real estate properties and steady progress in sales of real estate for sale.
