Benext Group's engineer headcount rises as utilization rates dip in september

Benext Group announced its monthly disclosure for September 2025, detailing the utilization rates and number of domestic engineers. The total number of engineers increased by 66 month-over-month (MoM) to 24,238, a 1,560 year-over-year (YoY) increase. However, the overall utilization rate saw a slight MoM decrease of 0.3 percentage points (pt) to 93.7%, despite a 0.6pt YoY increase.

For machinery and electric and IT engineers, the headcount grew by 71 MoM to 15,423, marking a 284 YoY increase. The utilization rate for this segment registered a minor MoM decrease of 0.1pt to 94.4% but showed a 0.8pt YoY improvement. In contrast, construction engineers saw a MoM decrease of 4 in headcount, totaling 8,815, yet experienced a significant 1,276 YoY increase. Their utilization rate fell by 0.5pt MoM to 92.5%, and by 1.1pt YoY.

The company's utilization rate is calculated as (number of active employees at the end of the month + number of business partners) / (number of employees at the end of the month + number of business partners - number of leave). These figures are publicly released on the company's website on the fourth Friday of each month.
