Willplus Holdings to acquire Wako Motoren's BMW dealership business

Willplus Holdings Corporation announced its board resolved to acquire the entire BMW authorized dealer business operated by Wako Motoren Co., Ltd. The acquisition includes three dealerships in Koshigaya, Ageo, and Kasukabe in Saitama Prefecture, marking Willplus Holdings' first expansion into the region. The company aims to enhance BMW's market share in Saitama, leverage existing customer bases, and bolster its service and insurance businesses.

The basic agreement was signed on October 16, 2025, with the final contract scheduled for mid-November 2025, and the business transfer expected in early January 2026. Wako Motoren Co., Ltd., established on April 14, 1989, is capitalized at JPY 49,000 thousand and specializes in new and used car sales, automobile maintenance, used car purchasing, and insurance agency services.

While specific financial terms remain confidential, Willplus Holdings expects the impact of this acquisition on its consolidated financial performance for the current fiscal year to be minor. Further details will be disclosed upon finalization of the business transfer agreement.
