Tose achieves record revenue, operating profit in fiscal year 2025

Tose Co., Ltd. announced a strong recovery and substantial profit growth for the fiscal year ending August 2025, with revenue reaching JPY 6,636 million and operating profit at JPY 689 million. This marks the highest revenue and operating profit in the last 15 years, a significant improvement from the JPY 522 million operating loss in the previous period. The game business was the primary driver, with active development on multiple major projects leading to a 43.8% increase in overall revenue and a 246.2% increase in gross profit to JPY 1,792 million.

Looking ahead to the fiscal year ending August 2026, Tose projects revenue of JPY 6,510 million, a slight decrease from FY2025. Operating profit is forecast to be JPY 405 million, reflecting an anticipated reduction in revenue share from game projects. However, the company expects a significant increase in net profit attributable to shareholders, rising to JPY 790 million, due to an extraordinary gain of JPY 789 million from the sale of land associated with the rebuilding of the Nagaokakyo Tose Building.

The company aims for a stable ROE of 8.0% or higher and plans to maintain a stable dividend. For FY2026, a total annual dividend of JPY 25 per share is projected, comprising JPY 12.5 for interim and JPY 12.5 for year-end, with a payout ratio of 24.0%.
