Phyz Holdings acquires MakotonoShin, boosts logistics services

Phyz Holdings announced its decision to acquire all shares of MakotonoShin Co. on October 16, 2025, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary. This strategic move aims to strengthen Phyz Holdings' logistics service business by integrating MakotonoShin, a company specializing in the delivery and installation of home appliances. The acquisition is expected to improve the utilization of transportation and delivery networks in Saitama Prefecture and enhance assembly, installation, and delivery services in the greater Tokyo area.

The acquisition involves 300 shares of MakotonoShin Co. for a total acquisition cost of 385 million yen. Including advisory fees of 32 million yen, the total cost for Phyz Holdings amounts to 417 million yen. MakotonoShin, established in September 2015 with a capital of 10 million yen, reported a net income of 10 million yen on revenues of 1,733 million yen for the fiscal year ended October 2024.

The transaction is scheduled for execution on October 20, 2025. Phyz Holdings anticipates a minor impact on its consolidated performance for the fiscal year ending March 2026.
