Renova's Omaezaki biomass plant resumes operations early

Renova, through its consolidated subsidiary Omaezaki Port Biomass Power Plant LLC, announced the resumption of normal operations at the Omaezaki Port Biomass Power Plant on October 10, 2025. This follows the completion of maintenance and repair work that began in June 2025, ahead of the previously revised restart target of sometime in October 2025.

The planned regular inspection for January 2026 (expected to last approximately 20 days) for the current fiscal year (ending March 2026) has been rendered unnecessary. Key aspects of this regular inspection were conducted during the recent maintenance and repair period. Therefore, only an inspection to confirm the repaired areas will be carried out in January 2026.

Despite a decrease in revenue due to the operational halt, Renova anticipates that the impact on its current fiscal year (ending March 2026) performance will be minor. This assessment is based on factors including the completion of the Omaezaki Port Biomass Power Plant's regular inspection, the incorporation of planned outage buffers into the full-year outlook for the overall biomass power generation business, increased earnings from lower spot fuel prices, and projected revenue from new power storage business developments not included in initial consolidated earnings forecasts. The company will disclose any further material developments promptly.
