This delay, expected to exceed 45 days past the quarter-end, stems from a ransomware attack on September 29, 2025, which caused significant system disruption. The company apologized for the inconvenience to shareholders and stakeholders.

The cyberattack has suspended system-based order and shipment processes across Asahi's domestic group companies. While manual order processing and shipments have begun for critical product supply, access to accounting-related data has been disrupted, delaying financial closing procedures. The full system recovery timeline remains uncertain.
