MonotaRO reports robust september performance and sales growth

MonotaRO Co., Ltd. (TSE:3064) released its monthly business performance for September of the fiscal year ending December 2025, detailing significant year-over-year growth in sales and customer acquisition. Total sales for September 2025 reached JPY 26,558 million, representing a 116.7% increase compared to JPY 22,760 million in September 2024. This growth contributed to an overall strong third quarter, with July sales at JPY 29,090 million (115.1% year-on-year) and August sales at JPY 22,620 million (107.4% year-on-year).

The company's performance for the current fiscal year has been consistently strong, with year-on-year sales increases recorded every month from January to September. January sales were JPY 24,038 million (117.9% year-on-year), February JPY 24,262 million (111.0%), March JPY 28,176 million (117.2%), April JPY 25,832 million (115.1%), May JPY 24,964 million (111.9%), and June JPY 27,733 million (123.3%).

MonotaRO also reported a robust increase in new customer accounts, with 87.0 thousand accounts acquired in September 2025. This follows acquisitions of 97.3 thousand in July and 88.0 thousand in August. The working days in September remained consistent with the previous year at 20 days. These figures are preliminary and subject to revision, with quarter-end revenues including royalty income from overseas.
