Kojima announces dividend hike, strong financial results for 2025

Kojima Co., Ltd. announced on October 9, 2025, that its board of directors resolved to increase its dividend for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2025, to 22.00 yen per share. This includes an ordinary dividend of 20.00 yen and a commemorative dividend of 2.00 yen for the company's 70th anniversary. This marks an increase from the previously forecasted dividend of 20.00 yen per share announced on July 10, 2025, and a substantial rise from the 16.00 yen per share paid in the prior fiscal year (ended August 31, 2024). The total dividend amount for the current fiscal year will be 1,700 million yen, compared to 1,231 million yen in the previous year.

The decision is supported by Kojima’s strong financial results for the fiscal year ended August 31, 2025. The company reported a net sales increase of 4.8% to 282,790 million yen, operating profit increased by 15.2% to 7,325 million yen, and ordinary profit rose by 16.7% to 7,732 million yen. Net profit also saw a significant increase of 17.7% to 4,709 million yen. Earnings per share for the fiscal year reached 61.05 yen.

Looking ahead, Kojima forecasts continued growth for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2026, with projected net sales of 294,000 million yen (a 4.0% increase) and an ordinary profit of 7,900 million yen (a 2.2% increase). The company anticipates a profit of 4,900 million yen (a 4.1% increase) and earnings per share of 63.38 yen. The announced dividend is consistent with Kojima’s basic policy of linking shareholder returns to business performance and future profitability, while also strengthening its corporate foundation.
