Keeper Technical Laboratory sales rise despite challenging September weather

Keeper Technical Laboratory's total sales for September 2025 increased by 3.9% year-over-year to 1,828,840 thousand yen. The Keeper LABO operation segment saw a 1.6% year-over-year increase in total revenue to 990,011 thousand yen, despite a 1.4% decline in sales at all 137 directly managed stores (952,233 thousand yen) and a 6.8% decrease at 124 existing stores (899,301 thousand yen). This segment's growth was bolstered by a significant 301.5% year-over-year rise in royalty and other revenue from franchise stores, totaling 37,777 thousand yen.

Challenging weather conditions across Japan in September led to a decline in customer visits to Keeper LABO stores, with heavy rainfall and reduced sunshine hours impacting car wash and coating reapplications. The average unit price remained relatively stable at 17,498 yen per vehicle, a 1.3% year-over-year decrease. Despite these headwinds, the EX Keeper product maintained sales at the previous year's level, indicating strong demand for premium coatings.

The Keeper products and related businesses segment recorded a 6.8% year-over-year increase in sales, reaching 838,829 thousand yen. The aftermarket segment, primarily KeePer PRO Shops, grew by 3.6% year-over-year. New car dealer sales surged by 25.4% year-over-year, with Subaru achieving a notable 200% increase. Overseas, the number of KeePer PRO Shops in Taiwan expanded from 3 to 15, showing strong potential.
