Ichigo’s September power generation falls due to maintenance, faults

Ichigo announced its solar and wind power generation results for September 2025, reporting a combined total of 18,762,148 kWh. This figure represents a 7.9% year-over-year decrease for the month and was 5.7% below the P50 forecast. The shortfall was attributed to an inverter failure at the Ichigo Ebino Suenaga ECO Power Plant and extended maintenance at the Ichigo Yonezawa Itaya ECO Power Plant. For the first half of the fiscal year ending August 31, 2025, total generation reached 136,965,585 kWh, a 3.2% increase compared to the same period in the previous fiscal year.

The company also detailed CO2 reduction efforts for September 2025, with a combined total of 8,163,857 kg-CO2. CO2 reduction figures are calculated using adjusted emission factors, with 0.694 kg-CO2 per kWh for Ichigo Nago Futami ECO Power Plant (Ichigo Green owned) and 0.423 kg-CO2 per kWh for other facilities. Over the first half of the fiscal year, Ichigo achieved a total CO2 reduction of 59,083,437 kg-CO2.

Reference data for the fiscal year ending February 2025 shows total power generation for the full year at 234,662,770 kWh and total CO2 reduction at 104,502,146 kg-CO2. Ichigo manages 15 renewable energy plants owned by Ichigo Green, with data for these plants also disclosed separately.
