Asahi reports September sales figures, new store opening

Asahi Co., Ltd. announced its preliminary monthly business report for September 2025, covering the period from August 21 to September 20, 2025. All stores experienced a 102.4% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net sales for the single month, with customer numbers up 101.2% and sales per customer up 101.2%. Cumulative figures for all stores show net sales at 99.4% YoY, customer numbers at 98.1% YoY, and sales per customer at 101.3% YoY.

For existing stores, September's single-month net sales were 100.3% YoY, with customer numbers at 99.8% YoY and sales per customer at 100.5% YoY. Cumulatively, existing stores reported net sales at 97.7% YoY, customer numbers at 96.8% YoY, and sales per customer at 101.0% YoY. These figures include e-commerce net sales for existing stores.

Asahi opened one new store, the Wako store in Saitama Prefecture, on September 11, 2025. There were no store closures. As of September 20, 2025, Asahi operates a total of 550 stores, comprising 533 directly operated stores and 17 franchise stores.
