Sky Perfect JSAT reports mixed Q3 subscription figures

Sky Perfect JSAT Holdings announced its subscription figures as of the end of September 2025, revealing a total of 2,524,289 subscribers for its SKY PerfecTV! services and 2,917,138 households for its optical fiber-based re-transmission service. The company reported a net increase of 12,475 households for the optical fiber service, with 24,636 new subscribers against 12,161 churns, resulting in a low monthly churn rate of 0.4%.

In contrast, SKY PerfecTV! services experienced a net decrease of 37,049 subscribers for IC cards or IC chips, with 32,477 new subscriptions versus 69,526 churns, leading to a 2.7% monthly churn rate. Specifically, SKY PerfecTV! (110-degree satellite broadcasts) saw a net decline of 30,801 subscribers, while the Premium Service recorded a net decrease of 6,248 subscribers. The total number of contractors across all SKY PerfecTV! services also declined by 35,188, reaching 1,939,641.
