Abc-Martinc reports September sales growth despite weather challenges

Abc-Martinc announced a 1.1% increase in all-store sales for September 2025 compared to the previous year, with existing stores reporting a 1.3% year-on-year growth. The month saw fewer Sundays than the prior year and was affected by poor weather and a prolonged heatwave. However, a drop in temperatures later in the month boosted demand for autumn products, contributing to steady sales. New sports shoes and lightweight long-sleeved apparel were highlighted as strong performers.

For the fiscal period from March 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026, all-store sales grew by 6.3% in the first half, while existing stores reported a 6.0% increase. Sales per customer across all stores rose by 3.0% and by 2.5% for existing stores. As of September 2025, Abc-Martinc operates 1,088 stores, having opened 4 new locations and closed 2 during the month.

Looking back at FY 2025 (March 2024 to February 2025), all-store sales grew by 9.8% in the first half, and existing stores saw a 9.9% increase. For the full year FY 2025, sales for existing stores increased by 8.7%, mirroring the 8.7% growth across all stores. The next monthly update is scheduled for November 5.
