Vertex Corporation completes acquisition of IHI Kenzaikogyo, renames it IKK

Vertex Corporation announced the completion of its share acquisition of IHI Kenzaikogyo, a transaction initially disclosed on March 27, 2025. Following the acquisition, the company has been rebranded as IKK. This strategic move aligns with Vertex Corporation's long-term vision, "VERTEX Vision 2034," which emphasizes strengthening and expanding its business portfolio through mergers and acquisitions.

The acquisition aims to integrate the production, technical, and sales expertise of Vertex Corporation with IKK, fostering the development of innovative new materials and products. IKK, now a wholly-owned subsidiary, specializes in the design, development, manufacturing, and sales of concrete products, particularly tunnel segments, and other civil engineering and construction materials.

IKK is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, with a capital of JPY 495 million and was established in December 1974. Vertex Corporation holds 100% of the shares in IKK, reinforcing its commitment to providing sustainable solutions that contribute to a safer and more secure society. The financial impact on Vertex Corporation’s consolidated results for the fiscal year ending March 2026 will be disclosed promptly once determined.
