Krscorporation sees revenue rise, profit fall in Q3; absorbs dormant subsidiary

Krscorporation announced its consolidated financial results for the third quarter of the fiscal year ending November 2025. Operating revenue increased by 3.8% to JPY 150,695 million. However, operating profit decreased by 9.7% to JPY 4,451 million, and ordinary profit fell by 15.3% to JPY 3,768 million. Net profit attributable to shareholders also declined by 14.8% to JPY 2,081 million. The company's full-year forecast remains unchanged, anticipating JPY 200,000 million in operating revenue and JPY 2,300 million in net profit.

In a separate development, Krscorporation's board approved the absorption-type merger of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Food Quality Logistics Inc., effective November 21, 2025. This strategic decision aims to rationalize management resources and improve efficiency, as Food Quality Logistics Inc. is currently inactive.

This merger is classified as a simplified and short-form merger, allowing Krscorporation to proceed without a shareholder meeting. The company confirms that the impact of this merger on its consolidated financial performance will be minor due to Food Quality Logistics Inc. being a 100% owned subsidiary.
