Kagome names Harunobu Okuya new representative director, president & CEO

Kagome Co., Ltd. resolved at its board of directors' meeting on September 29, 2025, to appoint Harunobu Okuya as the new representative director, president & CEO. This leadership transition aims to strengthen the company's management structure for sustainable growth and enhanced corporate value, aligning with the new medium-term management plan commencing in January 2026.

Mr. Okuya, currently director & managing executive officer, director of corporate division, and general manager of the corporate planning department, will succeed Satoshi Yamaguchi. Mr. Yamaguchi will transition from representative director, president & CEO to director, chairman of the board of directors. Mr. Okuya's scheduled assumption of the new post is January 1, 2026. He will also become director & managing executive officer and director of corporate division on October 1, 2025.

Harunobu Okuya joined Kagome in April 1990 and has held various key leadership positions, including general manager of the corporate planning department and executive officer. Born on March 17, 1968, he holds a Bachelor of Faculty of Engineering from Shizuoka University. As of the announcement, he owns 2,100 shares of the company.
