Meiko Electronics forms Vietnam joint venture for high-layer PCBs

Meiko Electronics Co., Ltd. announced a business alliance with Allied Circuit Co., Ltd. (ACCL) to establish a joint venture, "Allied Circuit Meiko Vietnam Co., Ltd."

The new entity, slated for establishment in November 2025, will construct a manufacturing facility in Hoa Binh City, Vietnam, focusing on high-layer printed circuit boards. The venture will have a capital of $16 million, with Meiko Electronics holding a 30% stake and ACCL holding 70%.

The collaboration aims to accelerate Meiko Electronics' entry into the high-layer market, including the rapidly expanding AI server sector. ACCL, headquartered in Taiwan, specializes in the research, development, manufacturing, and sales of printed circuit boards, with major shareholders including Compal Electronics, Inc. and Advantech Co., Ltd.

Meiko Electronics anticipates a negligible impact from this matter on its consolidated business results for the current fiscal year.
