Leopalace21 announces major shareholder shift as Chidori sells shares

Leopalace21 Corporation, TSE:8848, reported a change in its largest and principal shareholders effective September 30, 2025. Chidori Godo Kaisha, previously the largest shareholder, sold 34,000,000 shares, reducing its voting rights from 26.60% to 15.90% and moving from the No.1 to No.2 rank.

Consequently, UH Partners 2, Inc. will become the new largest and principal shareholder. While its voting rights remained constant at 15.92%, its rank shifted from No.2 to No.1 due to Chidori's reduced holding. The share transfer is expected to be completed via a block trade.

The company stated that this change in its largest and principal shareholder is not anticipated to affect its business results. The percentage of total voting rights calculations are based on 334,415,678 issued shares, deducting treasury and fractional shares.
