Hamamatsu Photonics announces board and executive officer changes

Hamamatsu Photonics K.K. announced on September 19, 2025, the nomination of candidates for directors and the planned appointment of executive officers. The board of directors has resolved to propose these candidates at the 78th ordinary general meeting of shareholders.

Tadashi Maruno is nominated for reappointment as representative director and president, chief executive officer. Other director reappointments include Hisaki Kato as representative director and vice president, Takayuki Suzuki, Ken Nozaki, Naofumi Toriyama, Kazuhiko Mori, and outside directors Kazue Kurihara, Takuo Hirose, Kaoru Minoshima, and Takaaki Kimura. Kazuhiko Mori is noted as a candidate for a non-executive director.

The company also outlined changes to its executive officers. Tadashi Maruno will serve as chief executive officer, Hisaki Kato as chief operating officer, and Takayuki Suzuki as senior managing executive officer. New executive officer appointments include Hisanori Suzuki and Yasuyuki Horiuchi. The proposed changes highlight a strategic realignment of leadership roles within the company.
