Furyu reports mixed August results; Sekaikan business strong

Furyu Corporation announced its preliminary monthly results for August 2025, with net sales reaching 3,844 million yen for the month, a 100.3% increase compared to August 2024. Year-to-date (April-August), total sales stand at 18,250 million yen. The Sekaikan Business segment was a strong performer, achieving 2,578 million yen in sales for August, up 112.9% year-on-year, primarily due to robust arcade prizes and overseas merchandise sales.

In contrast, the GIRLS Trend Business segment reported 1,100 million yen in August sales, an 89.7% decrease year-on-year, attributed mainly to the earlier timing of photo sticker machine sales. The FURYU New Business segment generated 157 million yen for the month. Key performance indicators (KPIs) show a slight decline, with total plays at 94.8% and PICTLINK paid members at 92.2% compared to the previous year.
