Fht Holdings forms alliance for perovskite solar cells in Japan

Fht Holdings Corporation, operating through its consolidated subsidiary EF Energy, announced on September 17, 2025, the signing of a business alliance agreement with Hangzhou Zhongneng Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. This follows a basic agreement made on February 12, 2025, and aims to strengthen Fht Holdings' competitiveness in next-generation renewable energy.

The collaboration will focus on the manufacturing and market deployment of perovskite solar cells in Japan. EF Energy will primarily be responsible for sales and planning, while Hangzhou Zhongneng will lead research, development, design, and manufacturing. Key aspects of the agreement include technical support for production and quality control, joint technology development for next-generation cells, and support for establishing production facilities and showrooms in Japan.

Hangzhou Zhongneng Optoelectronic Technology, established on August 4, 2015, specializes in thin-film photoelectric device R&D and production. As of December 31, 2024, the company reported net assets of 172,977 yuan and total assets of 398,160 yuan. Fht Holdings anticipates a slight delay in the initial timeline for establishing showrooms and production plants as it prioritizes securing demonstration projects.
