Crea Holdings faces ¥78.44m penalty recommendation over financial reports

Crea Holdings announced on September 17, 2025, that the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission (SESC) has recommended an administrative monetary penalty of ¥78.44 million to the Prime Minister and the Commissioner of the Financial Services Agency. This recommendation follows the company's submission of amended past securities reports and revisions to its past earnings reports on August 7, 2025, to the Kanto Local Finance Bureau.

The penalty recommendation pertains to several financial documents, including the 58th and 59th annual securities reports covering periods from April 1, 2021, to March 31, 2023. Additionally, it targets multiple quarterly reports from the third quarter of the 58th period (October 1, 2021 - December 31, 2021) through the second quarter of the 60th period (July 1, 2023 - September 30, 2023).

Crea Holdings expressed sincere acceptance of the SESC's recommendation and plans to review its response upon formal notification from the Financial Services Agency. The company will announce its updated stance on its website and extended a deep apology to its shareholders, investors, and other stakeholders for the considerable concern and inconvenience caused.
