Olympic Group chairman Yoshiki Kanazawa passes away at 77

Olympic Group Corporation announced today, September 16, 2025, that its chairman of the board, Yoshiki Kanazawa, passed away on September 5, 2025. Consequently, Mr. Kanazawa, aged 77, retired from his position as a director on the same date. The company expressed deep gratitude for his contributions during his lifetime.

The wake and funeral services were conducted privately with only close relatives present, and the company respectfully declined any offerings of flowers, gifts, condolences, or memorial messages in accordance with the wishes of the deceased and his family. A "farewell gathering" is planned for a later date.

Following Mr. Kanazawa's retirement, the number of directors at Olympic Group will decrease by one. However, the company confirmed that the remaining number of directors still meets the requirements stipulated by law and its articles of incorporation.
